Vietnam Black Pepper, Cassia Cinnamon,Star Aniseed, Ginger Market Yearly Report 2025 – Year in Review

In December 2025, Vietnam exported 22,473 tons, including 19,380 tons of black pepper and 3,093 tons of white pepper. Total export value reached US$146.4 million , with black pepper accounting for US$119.8 million and white pepper for US$26.6 million. Compared to November, export volume increased by 20.9% and value increased by 20.5%. Compared to the same period in December 2024, export volume increased by 47.2% and value increased by 45.5%. The average export price of black pepper in December was US$6,485/ton, and white pepper was US$8,565/ton, a decrease of 0.5% for black pepper but an increase of 6.1% for white pepper compared to the previous month.

The United States continued to be the largest export market for Vietnamese pepper, accounting for 27.7% with 6,233 tons, an increase of 35.9% compared to November 2025. Following the US were: UAE with 2,302 tons, China with 2,179 tons, Thailand with 1,261 tons, and Germany with 944 tons.
