Report of the pepper market and other spices in October & 10 months of 2025

In October 2025, Vietnam exported 19,430 tons of pepper, black pepper reached 16,464 tons, white pepper reached 2,966 tons. Total export turnover reached 129.5 million USD , compared to the previous month, export volume decreased by 5.2%, turnover decreased by 5.0% and compared to the same period in 2024, export volume increased by 5.1%, turnover increased by 7.7%. The average export price of black pepper in October reached 6,443 USD/ton, white pepper reached 8,392 USD/ton, down 47 USD for black pepper and 185 USD for white pepper compared to September.

The top export markets in October included: the United States: 4,283 tons, up 0.2% month-on-month. Followed by the UAE with 2,456 tons, up 25.2%; China with 1,214 tons, down 41.4%; Thailand with 772 tons, down 10.5%; and the Netherlands with 682 tons, down 27.4% compared to September 2025.
