in February 2026, Vietnam exported 13,969 tons of various types of pepper, including 11,585 tons of black pepper and 2,384 tons of white pepper. Total export value reached US$91.7 million, with black pepper accounting for US$73.9 million and white pepper for US$17.8 million. Compared to the previous month, export volume decreased by 35.8%, and compared to the same period in February 2025, export volume decreased by 2.5%. The average export price of black pepper in February was US$6,570/ton, and white pepper was US$8,651/ton, an increase of 1.2% for black pepper and 2.4% for white pepper compared to January 2026.
Meanwhile, the United States remains Vietnam’s largest pepper export market, accounting for 26.1% with 3,646 tons, followed by China with 1,561 tons and Thailand with 748 tons.
