• Robust Export Volume: July shipments demonstrated strong performance with 22,743 MT exported, reflecting an 8.8% year-over-year (YoY) increase. This sustains a record-breaking 7-month export total of 168,419 MT (+16.1% YoY), generating a total export value of USD 1.087 billion.

• US Market Resurgence: Year-to-date (YTD) demand from the US has grown by 31.8%, reaffirming its position as Vietnam's top buyer. Notably, there is a rising appetite for ground pepper, which accounted for 18.4% of the total July volume.

• Significant Growth in China: Chinese imports surged by 55.8% YTD. July volumes experienced a remarkable 206.9% month-over-month increase, establishing China as the primary destination for white pepper.

• European Trade Consolidation: The European market is undergoing a structural shift. The Netherlands saw a 48.8% increase as EU trade consolidates through Rotterdam, while demand from Germany and France has softened.

• Growth Across Asia and the Middle East: Regional expansion is led by Thailand (+88.7%) and Egypt (+30%), which helps offset recent declines in the Indian and South Korean markets.

• Product Mix Trends: Whole black pepper continues to dominate, comprising 71.7% of total shipments. Meanwhile, white pepper exports remain highly concentrated within Asian markets.
