In September 2025, Vietnam exported 20,487 tons of pepper, black pepper reached 17,486 tons, white pepper reached 3,001 tons. Total export turnover reached 136.3 million USD , compared to August, export volume decreased by 4.6%, turnover decreased by 2.5% and compared to the same period in 2024, export volume increased by 19.5%, turnover increased by 23.2%. The average export price of black pepper in September reached 6,490 USD/ton, white pepper reached 8,679 USD/ton, up 2.4% for black pepper and 1.4% for white pepper compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile, the United States continued to be the leading pepper export market of Vietnamese pepper, reaching 4,274 tons, down 11.1% compared to August. Followed by the markets: China: 2,071 tons, UAE: 1,962 tons, Netherlands: 940 tons, Thailand: 863 tons and Germany: 861 tons.
