Expanding trade promotion, assessing market trends

In February and March, Phuc Thinh Export Import Investment Corporation (PTEXIM) participated in two consecutive major international food and beverage expos: Gulfood in Dubai and Foodex Japan. In recent years, PTEXIM has been actively promoting product introduction, brand promotion, networking, and market trend analysis to enhance competitiveness and increase sales.

Gulfood is one of the world’s largest annual exhibitions for food, beverages, and spices, held from February 19th to 23rd, 2024. This year, with the attractive theme “Sustainable Gastronomy,” Gulfood Dubai brought together nearly 6,000 businesses from nearly 200 countries.

This expo was evaluated by experts as having significant influence in the context of a sluggish global economy, with the Middle East and Africa emerging as potential markets, opening up opportunities to find new partners. Gulfood 2024 is not only a mere trade exhibition but also serves as an important forum, affirming the trend of sustainable development in the food industry, fostering close collaboration for natural resource preservation and environmental protection.

PTEXIM participated as a visiting customer, meeting partners, conducting surveys, and assessing competitive rivals.

From March 5th to 8th, 2024, the international exhibition “Food and Beverage – Foodex Japan 2024” was held at the Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center in Tokyo, Japan’s capital. Alongside several Vietnamese enterprises with strengths in the food and agricultural processing sector, PTEXIM participated in showcasing and introducing exceptional spice products that meet stringent standards for food safety and regulations regarding banned substances/additives in one of the world’s most demanding markets.

This year, Foodex Japan attracted more than 3,000 booths from businesses representing 60 countries, with an exhibition area of nearly 30,000 square meters. Over the course of four days, it welcomed nearly 100,000 visitors and facilitated contract negotiations.

PTEXIM’s booth was highly regarded by many partners for the outstanding quality and packaging of its products, meeting the strict standards of the Japanese market

Introducing a spice booth with a strong Vietnamese cultural influence, PTEXIM is highly regarded by many partners not only for its focus on product quality but also for its investment in packaging design to suit the preferences of Japanese consumers.

During this time, representatives of PTEXIM’s leadership also attended the 7th International Spice Conference (ISC 2024) with the theme “Shaping the Future: Trends and In-depth Understanding,” organized by the All India Spices Exporters Forum (AISEF) in India, as well as the 4th Vietnam Pepper and Spice International Conference (VIPO 2024) in Hanoi, focusing on “Comprehensive Sustainability,” jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Vietnam Pepper Association and Spice Association.

PTEXIM is honored to receive an accolade at VIPO 2024, recognizing its efforts and contributions to the Vietnamese spice export industry

In particular, at VIPO 2024, PTEXIM was honored with a commendation for being a reputable enterprise in 2023, acknowledging its efforts and contributions to the spice export sector as well as the Vietnamese agricultural industry in the international market.
