The 4th wave of Covid-19 returned to Vietnam with terrible cruelty, leaving grief and loss for many families. In which, many children were being orphaned after birthing.
Empathizing with this loss, in early October 2021, Phuc Thinh Import-Export Investment Joint Stock Company (PTEXIM) donated cash to support orphans at Hung Vuong Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City).
Since May 2021 until now, Hung Vuong Hospital has received treatment for many pregnant women and newborn babies who have unfortunately been infected with Covid-19. Many children had father or mother, even both parents died from Covid-19. At the Hospital, the HOPE Center for supporting children whose mothers are infected with Covid-19 has been established. At this time these children are in dire need of care and protection from socio-political organizations and communities.
With desire to promote social responsibility – giving helping hands for the less fortunate in life, PTEXIM and staffs of company have donated to support the children. This amount is transferred directly to the HOPE Center… to share a part of daily necessities such as diaper milk, clothes, cotton towels…
This is also a little bit of warm, loving affection to these children, hope they can return to their families soon.
